Repair & Housecall Terms of Service

For Intakes: Customer agrees to pay the minimum charge of $50.00 for Diagnostic Services. This minimum is payable regardless of whether the computer is repairable and/or whether the customer decides to go ahead with the recommended actions.

Diagnostic services provide an estimate of what may be causing your problem and an estimate of the cost to solve your issue.

For Housecalls:
Customer agrees to pay the minimum charge of $100.00 (for first hour) for any housecall visit regardless of it's outcome, Thereafter housecalls are $100/hour billed in 15 minute increments.

An estimate of the work being performed and the estimate of the time needed for servicing are "best estimates" given by an expert technician with a price range and may not reflect actual time worked to perform the servicing as needed. Client agrees to have work performed based upon the estimate of work and time needed while payment is based upon actual time worked and service performed. Our current service rate is $100/hour.

During the normal servicing of computer components, any component failure due to negligence or accident, Your Neighborhood Office shall not be held liable for any more than the fair market value of the damaged components. If any components are under warranty, they shall be replaced under the terms of that warranty. Your Neighborhood Office shall not be held responsible in any manner for lost revenue, lost productivity, or data loss arising from component failure or otherwise.

If the client should solicit or engage in activity with any employees of Your Neighborhood Office for work unbeknownst to management of Your Neighborhood Office within one year of the service call, the client shall be billed a charge of 15% of employee's annual salary. If a Your Neighborhood Office consultant engages in any solicitation for work outside the purview of Your Neighborhood Office, please notify our office and you may receive up to five complimentary hours of consulting time.

If there are any problems or items missing Your Neighborhood Office will be held responsible for only items written on the intake form. We will replace your disk/s or cord at market value for any of the damaged components.
